Direct vent or ventless: which gas fireplace is right for my home?
Direct vent gas fireplaces pull air from outside and send exhaust outside through a sealed pipe, so nothing from the fire enters the room. Vent-free units release exhaust into the room and carry tighter size and placement limits. Most of the gas fireplaces we install in Central Kentucky are direct vent, and a pre-site visit settles which one fits your wall and venting.
How much does it cost to install a gas fireplace?
